Background
A rapid increase of tourist inflow in the state has thrown up the requirement for accomodation facilities in all categories. Private investment, already well represented in this segment, is further required. Procedures and rules for building accomodation units in the state have already been simplified. Tourism units are now treated at par for land conversion in Rural and Urban areas.

All over Rajasthan.
Incentives
As many as 20,000 hotel rooms will be required by the year 2020 in different categories. These are best planned in five year phases so there is a steady addition to capacity. |

Estimated Costs of Projects |
- Cost of one room in a 5/4 star hotel is approximately Rs. 25 lakh. Land required approximately 10,000 - 20,000 sq. mtr. for 100 rooms hotel.
- Cost of 3 star hotel of 50 rooms @15 lakh per room. Total Rs. 750 lakh . Land required approximately 7,500 - 10,000 sq. mtr.
- Cost of 2 star hotel of 50 rooms @ Rs. 10 lakh per room. Total Rs. 500 lakh. Land required approximately 5000 sq. mtr.
- Cost of 1 star hotel of 50 rooms @ 5 lakh per room. Total Rs. 250 lakh. Land required approximately 3000 sq. mtr.
