The
B.M. Birla Planetarium is a unique unidirectional
planetarium in India with a seating capacity of 132.
It is programmed to project the night skies as seen
from anywhere in the world 12000 years from now in
the past or future!
The 12m-diameter dome can accurately simulate over
7500 stars of the celestial globe. A 480-watt quadraphonic
system with a 48 band equalizer, 4 track recording
and channel mixing facilities on the control console
itself, adds to its advantage in preparing in house
programmes.
